Why is there a fee this year?

For the first 3 years we have foot the large bill to make this event happen, which we have loved doing as our history has proved (over 150 free parties so far). With every year comes new expenses along with the desire to grow the event. This year we are making the day more robust on all levels. As it grows we also are required to have much more infrastructure to maintain a safe environment. This all comes at a cost so this year we have added a very reasonable admission price to cover the ever rising costs of producing a unique outdoor event. We hope you can still join us for a super fun day.

 

Can I bring my dog?

Pets are allowed but must be on a leash at all times.

 

Can I BBQ at the event?

Yes, but your BBQ must be in the designated BBQ area adjacent to the grass on the pavement.

 

Can I bring my shade canopy?

Please note that you cannot use any stakes in the grass to secure your shade structure.  The Great Lawn of Treasure Island is also subject to very windy conditions due to it’s location on the San Francisco Bay. Please use extreme caution for any shade apparatus you use.
